OoTD: Beauty and the Beast

"I sought the Lord, and he answered me;
he delivered me from all my fears.
Those who look to him are radiant;
their faces are never covered with shame"
Psalm 34:4-5

I love this whole chapter. These are two of my favorite verses. I can repeat them over and over in my head mesmerized by God's faithfulness. He delivers me from all my fears. Fear of failure, fear of rejection, fear of boldness. All Gone. No more fear. He answers me every time.

And then, He remids me that even when I sin and I feel ashamed for what I have done, He sees me as radiant! He takes my shame away!!

However, this doen't come by itself, first I have to seek Him.
So, I encourage you to seek Him today and always!

Red coat, navy flowy skirt, black skirt, black tights, brown riding boots

Andrew and I went to the theater to see The Beauty and The Beast!
It was awesome!!!! Belle was an awesom singer (as well as everyone else) and I loved how cartoonish everything was.
My camera messed up this photo.. it does that sometimes :/

The play was in the Realto

Beautiful ceilings

And beautiful columns.. and beautiful people
There were so many little girls dressed up as Belle.. They were too cute!

Beautiful chandelieres

OoTD: Eternal Comfort and Good Hope

Short and simple:

"Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by grace gave us eternal comfort and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good thing you do or say."
2 Thessalonians 2:16-17

What an awesome reminder! He has given us eternal comfort and good hope (despite what we might see in the news that can sometimes be disheartening, sad and just plain out wrong, there is hope)

Now, this hope is not to be kept for ourselves, it is to be shared with others. He has encouraged us to do so and has given strength to be bold. We ought to do and say good things, not to boast on ourselves, but for others.

Yes, we are nowhere near perfection, but that cannot be used as an excuse to stop us from sharing God's hope and comfort with others..

How can you do this you may ask? Talk to that person sitting by themselves during lunch hour, or gather with a few of your friends and volunteer at a shelter. Don't worry about what to do or say; it may be awkward at first, but He will give yout the right words to say eventually... And don't forget to smile!
Soon, you will realize it is a blessing to do these things, and He will "encourage your heart"

That will be the greatest reward anyone could ever ask for!

Happy beggining of the week!

Yours, Aranza

OoTD: Dreams and Visions

"Then the Lord answered me and said: 'Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it'"
Habakkuk 2:2

For a while now, I had been struggling with having a vision for my life and believing my dreams would come true. Yesterday, I had a tremendous revelation that God does not choose the qualified, but qualifies the chosen. He chose me to work for His kingdom, and I think for a while I had been scared of what that would look like, but not any more!

I am done going through the motions of life having no dreams or visions.
Yesterday, I sat down and asked God to guide me and give me revelation for what His dreams are for my life.. and boy, am I excited!!!!

I can hardly wait until some of my major dreams become realities! For now, I am praying and working toward them. I still have to go through life, but I now have a refreshed sense of what is in store, and of what my role is.

And yes, though the situations that once stunted my dreams are still present, I now trust God, not those situations, or my own actions.

It was freeeeeeezing!! And I don't know why I didn't put gloves one.. But it was still nice finally having some snow on the ground... It looks beautiful

What are your dreams?

May God bless you,
Aranza

OoTD: Renewal of mind and Peace

Today's words were "Peace" and "Renewal of Mind"

Romans 2:2 says: "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will."

It was a good reminder to be in continual dialogue with God, and let Him transform me.
I pray my mind is renewed constantly and aligned with God's will.

I want Him to use me as His embassador of peace on Earth as well, and I hope and pray the same for you..

I wear this outfit (different t-shirts) more than I'd like to admit! It's so comfy and all the pieces have been Christmas gifts from my parents (over the years) so, I guess I'm just honoring them by wearing their gifts :)

Have an awesome day and God bless!

OoTD: Forgiven and White as snow

Today I am reminded of God's forgiveness and the fact that because of Jesus' death on the cross and resurrection, I am made white as snow!

Isaiah 1:18
18 “Come now, let us settle the matter,”
says the Lord.
“Though your sins are like scarlet,
they shall be as white as snow;
though they are red as crimson,
they shall be like wool."

Perfect verse! Wool reminds me of cold weather!

I wore a white button up, a beige sweater, and an off white faux fur vest..
And short brown boots with some leg warmers.. oh! and a layered necklace

Have a great day!
and God bless!

Yours, Aranza
