OoTD: DIY Lacey Skirt

Hello,
I hope you are having a great day.

I wanted to share with you what I wore to Thanksgiving dinner. This year my whole family and I went to Ace's parent's to celebrate Thanksgivng, and it was a semi-casual affair.
I think I dressed up a bit too much considering most everyone else was wearing jeans and t-shirts.. oh Well!

And in the spirit of thanksgiving, I am thankful for the gift of grace:
"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast."
Ephesians 2:8-9

I wore a demin button up with the lace skirt I made in this tutorial.

I had to wear tights beacuse it was too chilly

And I added my favorite pair of black pumps!

I added a rhinestone necklace

Here is a closer look to my shoes (and Ace's foot hehe)

Forever yours,
Aranza

OoTD: My Soul's Boast

My soul makes its boast in the Lord;
let the humble hear and be glad.
Psalm 34:2

Although I really enjoy fashion (and everyone in my family can say I enjoy it a little bit too much), I know I can only boast in the Lord. Nothing I posses can be compred to the joy of knowing God. And after all, isn't everything I have His anyway? It is all a gift from God, so it would be dumb for me to boast on anything but Him.

Now, being honest, I can say that from time to time, when people compliment me (or my clothes, or shoes, or hair...) my pride grows. It is a constant struggle to ask God to humble me.

So Lord, humble me, for all I want to boast in is You!

(Sorry for the poor quality; my phone's self timer is not the best)

I don't wear too much jewelry during winter just because it's too much hastle to take rings off when putting gloves on, or trying to put a long sleeve anything over bracelets, or wearing a scarf on top of a necklace, but when I get the chance to, I like to bling it on!

It was freezing outside (4 degrees F?) and let me tell you, this fur vest was not enough (it usually is) to keep me warm

I know the shoes could be different, but these boots are so comfortable and keep me ever so safe! (They have a good drip and they keep me from falling on the slippery ground)

(see the difference in quality without the self timer????)

Take care and God bless,
Aranza
