OoTD: God's Beautiful Creation

Here is the outfit I wore a couple of days ago. I live in the Midwest and the weather has been going nuts, so I took these pictures when the temperature was below freezing!

We had just have a tremendous snow storm, so I had to go with rain boots

On top of being chilly, it was windy!! But oh! How beautiful God's creation is.. especially covered in snow!!

I don't know how this happened to this picture, but I'm going to leave it alone and enoy it!

I wore the belt most of the day, but I took it off later and I think I like it either way.

I got thse boots for Christmas, but when I got them they had brown laces, so recently I switched them up for a pretty black bow!

When I originally bought this shirt, it was an extra large. I really liked the bow detail at the neckline, and the softness of it, but it was too big. So, I took the sides in and left the bottom hem untouched. I really like the fact that it's a very long shirt now!

Yours, Aranza

OoTD: My Soul's Boast

My soul makes its boast in the Lord;
let the humble hear and be glad.
Psalm 34:2

Although I really enjoy fashion (and everyone in my family can say I enjoy it a little bit too much), I know I can only boast in the Lord. Nothing I posses can be compred to the joy of knowing God. And after all, isn't everything I have His anyway? It is all a gift from God, so it would be dumb for me to boast on anything but Him.

Now, being honest, I can say that from time to time, when people compliment me (or my clothes, or shoes, or hair...) my pride grows. It is a constant struggle to ask God to humble me.

So Lord, humble me, for all I want to boast in is You!

(Sorry for the poor quality; my phone's self timer is not the best)

I don't wear too much jewelry during winter just because it's too much hastle to take rings off when putting gloves on, or trying to put a long sleeve anything over bracelets, or wearing a scarf on top of a necklace, but when I get the chance to, I like to bling it on!

It was freezing outside (4 degrees F?) and let me tell you, this fur vest was not enough (it usually is) to keep me warm

I know the shoes could be different, but these boots are so comfortable and keep me ever so safe! (They have a good drip and they keep me from falling on the slippery ground)

(see the difference in quality without the self timer????)

Take care and God bless,
Aranza

OoTD: Power

"For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but one of power, love, and self-control"
2 Timothy 1:7

Today I was reminded of the importance of faith.
Faith gives us power, self-control, and it lets us know we are loved and allows us to love others.

Fear is the opposite of faith so, how can I have faith if I fear?
Oh, but I never fear! I have so much faith, I could give it away by the millions..

Yeah right! I wish this were true, but unfortunately it is not.
However, I will not let this knowledge bring me down... I will believe in God and ask Him to increase my faith. After all, faith is a gift that can only come from Him.

I hope you had an amazing day today. I pray God will increase your faith and reveal to you the Spirit He has given to you.

How has God shown you His power today?

God bless,
Yours, Aranza
